Title: Certified Nurse Assistant

Work Status: Non-Exempt, FT

Rate of Pay: $20 - 26, depending on experience

Work Hours: Day Shifts Available, 12-hour shift (6:30AM - 7PM)

Shift Differential: $1.50 per hours after 3PM

Radford Green is recruiting for a hospitality focused CNA to join our team! This position provides direct nursing care to residents and delegates and supervises the care provided by our Quality of Life Specialists/Resident Assistants. All private rooms, beautiful environment with tenure staff.

Essential Job Duties:

  • Assists residents with dressing, grooming, eating, bathing, positioning, turning, toileting and exercising.
  • Gives treatments, performs tests, carries out procedures and collects specimens as instructed.
  • Reports and records observations and results of treatments, tests, procedures and specimens when indicated.
  • Transfers, transports and escorts residents as need.
  • Answers signal lights promptly.
  • Changes bed linens, makes beds and keeps rooms clean and orderly.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Successful completion of an Illinois State approved nursing assistant training program. Prior geriatric nursing aide experience is preferred. Registration with Illinois State registry required.
  • Ability to understand and follow instructions in English, communicate effectively, and perform simple arithmetic. Ability to document care given.
