CNA Nurse Assistant Position

We currently have an opening for a CNA Nurse Assistant position at Serene Nursing Services. In this role, you would be responsible for providing direct patient care under the supervision of a registered nurse or licensed practical nurse, assisting with activities of daily living, monitoring vital signs, and collaborating with the healthcare team to develop care plans, among other duties.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct patient care under the supervision of a Certified Medical Assistant or Licensed Practical Nurse or registered nurse.
  • Assist with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, and feeding.
  • Monitor and record vital signs, such as blood pressure, temperature, and pulse.
  • Assist with mobility and transfers, ensuring patient safety.
  • Follow aseptic techniques to prevent infection and maintain a clean and safe environment.
  • Assist with airway management and respiratory support as needed.
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement care plans.
  • Provide emotional support to patients and their families.
  • Document patient information accurately and timely.

Requirements:

  • Valid certification as a Nursing Assistant or completion of a nursing assistant training program.
  • Experience in hospice care, primary care, or other healthcare settings is preferred.
