The Fraud Risk Manager within the Control and Oversight Group in Personal Wealth is responsible for developing and executing a forward-looking fraud roadmap that protects clients, safeguards business operations, and supports strong risk-informed decision-making across the Personal Wealth Division.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute the fraud risk roadmap in alignment with business priorities, regulatory expectations, and enterprise objectives.
- Design, develop, and oversee the fraud monitoring program, including evaluation of controls and strategies to improve risk reduction, client experience, catastrophic loss protection, and false positive reduction.
- Partner with Enterprise Fraud, Product, Privacy, Operations, and other business stakeholders to implement effective fraud and privacy risk mitigation solutions with an emphasis on client experience.
- Serve as the fraud subject matter expert for the Personal Wealth business, advising on significant fraud events, escalations, and emerging risk matters.
- Conduct fraud risk assessments to identify, evaluate, and communicate control gaps, vulnerabilities, and areas for process improvement.
- Support the development of policies, procedures, and governance practices related to fraud and privacy risk management.
- Prepare clear risk insights, assessment findings, and recommendations for leadership and cross-functional partners.
- Contribute to strategic initiatives and special projects related to fraud prevention.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of training and experience; advanced degree preferred.
- Experience in fraud risk management, privacy risk, operational risk, compliance, or financial services risk oversight.
- Strong understanding of fraud monitoring, control design, risk assessments, and incident response.
- Ability to balance risk mitigation with client experience and operational efficiency.
- Demonstrated experience working cross-functionally with enterprise partners and influencing decision-making.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Knowledge of fraud typologies, privacy considerations, and risk management practices within financial services is preferred.
- Professional certifications in fraud (CFE) a plus.
