Front Desk Receptionist
Michigan Locations: West Bloomfield, Fraser, Port Huron, Rochester Hills, Royal Oak, and Warren
Position Summary
Fraser Eye Care Center is a thriving medical practice dedicated to providing high-quality state-of-the-art ophthalmology services to our community. We are committed to excellence in patient care, and our team of professionals works together to ensure a positive experience for our patients. We are seeking a friendly, organized, and compassionate Front Desk Receptionist to join our team. The Front Desk Receptionist is the first point of contact for our patients and plays a crucial role in ensuring a smooth and efficient experience for our patients.
Skills Required
  • Greet patients and visitors with a warm and welcoming demeanor.
  • Register new patients and update existing patient information in our practice management system.
  • Verify patient insurance information.
  • Answer phone calls in a high-volume call center, triage, route calls to appropriate staff, schedule appointments, and take messages when necessary.
  • Contact patients to remind them of upcoming appointments.
  • Process patient payments accurately and provide receipts.
  • Balance payments received at the end of each day.
  • Manage incoming patient referrals and requests for medical records.
  • Run daily and weekly reports.
  • Maintain a clean and organized front desk area.
  • Always ensure patient confidentiality and privacy.
