Job description

SHOP ASSOCIATE:
Pay $19 -$25
Work schedule is M-F 8am-430pm, 30 minute unpaid lunch
Contract to hire
The shop associate’s role is to assist in the milling and manufacturing part of our operation. All the frames we make start out as 4/4 lumber, so the lumber must be cut to size, profiled, and sanded in the milling part of the operation. The associate will assist in cutting, glueing, profiling and processing scrap and waste material.
  • Ability to read a tape measure to the 1/16” of an inch
  • Uses power tools such as table saws, cutoff saws, routers, and sanders is required.
  • As with all of our positions, a willingness to learn our internal processes and best practices is key.
  • Ability to work as part of a team and take respectful feedback is essential to success in this role.
PPE is not required, other than no open-toe shoes or drapey jewelry
