Job Description:

Summary
The Hydraulic Fracturing Service Supervisor monitors all hydraulic fracturing (HF) operations and equipment maintenance on location; oversees the daily inspection of all equipment; accounts for all inventory, parts, and personnel on location; and acts as supervisory direct report for assigned personnel.
Responsibilities

  • Monitor all HF operations and equipment maintenance on location

  • Oversee the daily inspection of all equipment

  • Ensure that all necessary equipment and parts are on location and readily available

  • Correct safety and operational errors when observed

  • Account for all inventory, parts, and personnel on location

  • Maintain relationships with customers and vendors who may be on site

  • Conduct Job Safety Analysis prior to each job

  • Schedule any necessary trainings for the personnel on shift

  • Act as supervisory direct report for assigned personnel (i.e., performance management, corrective action, training, defining daily priorities, creating work schedules, etc.)

  • Manage time and attendance for assigned personnel including timecard approval or paid time off

  • Oversee the hiring of assigned personnel (i.e. collaborate with Human Resources recruiters, perform interviews, select qualified talent, etc.)

  • Maintain compliance with Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) policies by attending all required HSE training sessions, safety meetings, and always utilize proper Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)

  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

  • Minimum 2 years oilfield experience, required

  • Demonstrate advanced knowledge of all duties involved in hydraulic fracturing operations

  • Strong leadership characteristics: able to coach, mentor, track performance, train, enact corrective measures, and delegate responsibility to a team

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills; able to effectively interact with customers, vendors, work crew, and personnel at all levels of the organization

  • Personable and collaborative; works well on a team to accomplish a common objective

  • Must be safety conscious in all weather conditions, including maintaining a critical eye on all hazards on job location, willing to use stop work authority, and correct possible safety related issues

  • Understands basic mathematical calculations

  • Proficient working in Microsoft Office 365 applications and able to quickly learn other work related software

  • Able to safely operate and maintain assigned equipment during a 12+ hour work shift that will include days, nights, weekends, and holidays

  • Ability to meet time-sensitive deadlines under high pressure (i.e., emergency response situations)

  • Must be physically able to bend, stoop, kneel, twist, crawl, walk on uneven surfaces, and climb equipment ladders or stairs throughout the work shift

  • Must be physically able to work outdoors in all weather conditions including extreme heat or cold temperatures

  • Occasionally lift or move up to 80 lbs.
