Warehouse Associate

The Warehouse Associate is responsible for ordering parts/components/materials and managing inventory supporting Maintenance. This role will report to the Warehouse Manager and the role is days, Monday through Friday.

Responsibilities:

  • Locate, provide parts and components to both Maintenance and Production personnel
  • Provide availability and delivery dates to the Plant
  • Receive and verify items ordered
  • Properly store all items to Atlas warehouse standards
  • Order and track parts, track backorder items and contact vendors
  • Maintain updated parts and component ordering catalogs, manage parts life cycle via Epicor
  • Maintain cleanliness in warehouse and all storage areas
  • Ensure all on-hand inventory balances are accurate
  • Issue parts/components/materials to maintenance and production personnel
  • Prepare and forward all documentation – including but not limited to: purchase orders, parts requests, work orders, received goods and packing lists
  • Performs regular inventories and cycle counts on parts/materials/components established by Warehouse Manager
  • Establish and maintain effective working relationships with plant personnel, management and all vendors
  • Ability to operate a forklift safely

Qualifications:

  • Excellent verbal and written communication and problem-solving skills
  • High sense of urgency and strong attention to detail
  • Ability to carry out instructions furnished in oral/diagrammatic or written form that involves standardized work with some latitude for independent judgement
  • High school or GED
  • Ability to provide a clean MVR so you can drive for the company
  • Ability to work long periods of time in non-climate controlled areas
