Job description

Field Technology Integration Specialists I assigned to Emerald Gas Drive frac pump operations are responsible for supporting the functionality, reliability, diagnostics, and operational performance of Emerald Gas Drive systems across assigned fleets and operational regions. Responsibilities to include - supporting installation, commissioning, diagnostics, troubleshooting, software updates, testing, maintenance coordination, and operational readiness activities associated with Emerald Gas Drive frac pump systems and related technology platforms.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support program planning, implementation readiness reviews, and deployment activities related to Emerald Gas Drive systems.
  • Coordinate assigned cross-functional tasks between Engineering, Operations, Maintenance, Electronics, and Field Technology teams.
  • Support field startup, commissioning, testing, troubleshooting, and operational deployment activities.
  • Assist with tracking risks, issues, action items, and operational dependencies.
  • Maintain program documentation, procedures, troubleshooting guides, and training materials.
  • Support software updates, configuration management, and technology integration activities.
  • Assist with collecting, documenting, and communicating operational performance data and field feedback.
  • Ensure compliance with company safety standards, customer requirements, and operational procedures.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives and approved engineering modifications.
Maintenance Responsibilities

Field Technology Integration Specialist I personnel are expected to support maintenance activities associated with Emerald Gas Drive frac pump systems and related field technologies to assist in maintaining operational reliability, equipment readiness, and safe operating conditions. Responsibilities to include assisting Operations, Maintenance, and senior Field Technology personnel with inspections, preventative maintenance activities, troubleshooting support, repair verification, and basic diagnostics involving integrated technology systems, controls equipment, sensors, software platforms, and communication systems.

  • Assist with preventative and corrective maintenance activities for Emerald Gas Drive systems and associated technology equipment.
  • Support Maintenance personnel during troubleshooting, repair, inspection, and validation activities.
  • Monitor and report equipment alarms, fault codes, operational abnormalities, and recurring issues to leadership and senior technical personnel.
  • Assist with equipment inspections, startup checks, and post-repair operational verification activities.
  • Support software verification, basic configuration checks, and hardware inspections following maintenance or repair events.
  • Maintain accurate maintenance records, inspection reports, service documentation, and operational updates.
  • Ensure maintenance-related activities are completed in accordance with company procedures, OEM recommendations, engineering standards, and safety requirements.
  • Assist with implementation of approved software updates, controls changes, and engineering modifications under guidance from senior personnel.
  • Maintain clean and organized work areas, tools, testing equipment, and technology assets.
  • Follow all safety requirements including lockout/tagout procedures, stop work authority, red zone policies, and customer safety standards.

Field Technology Integration Specialist I personnel are expected to work under the guidance of senior Field Technology personnel while developing technical knowledge, troubleshooting capabilities, operational understanding, and maintenance support experience related to Emerald Gas Drive systems and field technology integration activities.

Operational Support Responsibilities
  • Support field operations during startup, shutdown, and active frac operations involving Emerald Gas Drive equipment.
  • Monitor system performance, alarms, fault codes, and operational trends to minimize downtime and improve fleet reliability.
  • Coordinate with Operations and Maintenance personnel regarding troubleshooting efforts and repair planning.
  • Support fleet readiness and equipment availability initiatives across assigned regions and districts.
  • Communicate operational concerns, performance trends, and equipment status updates to leadership and Engineering teams.
Diagnostics and Troubleshooting Responsibilities
  • Utilize approved diagnostic software and tools including CAT ET, MDT, and other applicable systems to diagnose and troubleshoot equipment issues.
  • Assist with root cause analysis investigations and documentation of operational abnormalities or recurring failures.
  • Support validation testing following repairs, software updates, or equipment modifications.
  • Escalate unresolved technical issues to Engineering, OEMs, vendors, or leadership when required.
Technology Integration and Deployment Responsibilities
  • Support deployment and integration of hardware, software, controls, sensors, networking equipment, and operational technologies associated with Emerald Gas Drive systems.
  • Assist with software loading, updates, system configuration, and version control activities.
  • Participate in field trials, system evaluations, commissioning activities, and performance verification testing.
  • Support implementation of engineering changes, approved modifications, and operational improvement initiatives.
Documentation and Reporting Responsibilities
  • Complete required reporting, service documentation, inspection records, and operational updates accurately and in a timely manner
  • Maintain records related to troubleshooting activities, repairs, software revisions, deployment status, and field observations.
  • Communicate field findings, operational feedback, and system performance trends to leadership and Engineering teams.
Training and Certification Expectations
  • Maintain current knowledge of Emerald Gas Drive systems, diagnostics platforms, controls architecture, and operational procedures.
  • Participate in required training programs, OEM courses, safety training, field exercises, and technical development activities.
  • Ensure all required certifications, qualifications, and customer-specific training remain current and valid.
  • Seek guidance when unfamiliar with assigned tasks, equipment, software, or procedures.
  • Support knowledge transfer and operational training efforts for field personnel and support teams as needed.
Experience & Capability Indicators
  • Foundational understanding of program management, operational workflows, and industrial equipment systems
  • Basic understanding of diagnostics, troubleshooting, controls systems, and technology integration processes
  • Developing ability to work collaboratively across Engineering, Operations, Maintenance, and Field Support organizations
  • Ability to organize tasks, communicate effectively, and support multiple operational priorities.

Physical & Field Work Requirements

May require periodic physical activity in manufacturing, shop, or field environments including lifting up to 50 lbs., standing, walking, climbing, bending, and working around industrial equipment and active frac operations. Position requires regular travel to district locations, customer sites, field operations, testing environments, or training facilities as operational needs dictate. May require extended work hours, rotational schedules, night operations, or emergency field response support during critical operational events.

Reporting Relationship

Reports to Program Manager and will work directly under the guidance of the Field Technology Integration Advisor(s) and Field Technology Integration Specialist II(s)
