Job description

Seeking qualified CDL drivers to transport aggregates, hazardous and non-hazardous materials, asbestos, biomedical materials, chemicals, drums, food products, and scrap tires.

Summary
Operate commercial vehicles and specialized equipment while following DOT regulations, company safety standards, and documentation requirements.

Qualifications

  • Commercial driving experience is preferred in construction, hauling, transportation, or environmental services.
  • Ability to maneuver trucks, trailers, and equipment at job sites and disposal facilities.
  • Knowledge of inspections, load securement, and safe material transport.
  • Ability to work outdoors in varied weather and terrain.
  • Commitment to safety, reliability, professionalism, and teamwork.

Job Responsibilities

  • Perform DOT-required pre-trip and post-trip inspections.
  • Operate dump trucks, roll-off trucks, tractors, trailers, tankers, flatbeds, lowboys, vacuum boxes, sludge boxes, C&D boxes, frac tanks, and related equipment.
  • Load, unload, tarp, chain, strap, and secure materials and roll-off boxes.
  • Communicate with dispatch, obtain signed tickets, and complete documentation.
  • Refuel equipment and maintain safe practices throughout each shift.
  • Maneuver vehicles on rough terrain and disposal facility surfaces.
  • Follow company, DOT, and job-site safety procedures.
  • Report unsafe conditions and work safely around equipment and field hazards.
  • Represent the company professionally with customers, coworkers, vendors, and the public.
  • Demonstrate teamwork, reliability, flexibility, and a positive work ethic.

Requirements

  • Valid Class A or Class B CDL for assigned equipment/routes.
  • Hazmat and Tanker endorsements for applicable Class A assignments.
