Global Pharma Tek is seeking an intermediate-level .NET Core Developer to join their team in Jackson, MS for a short-term contract position. The successful candidate will play a key role in redesigning a legacy application from FoxPro to .NET Core, participating in all phases of the development life cycle.
Responsibilities:
• Participate in designing and developing new features and functionalities using .NET Core, ASP.NET MVC, and Entity Framework.
• Assist in the conversion of the existing FoxPro application to a .NET Core-based system.
• Utilize Crystal Reports Designer to generate reports and integrate them into the new application.
• Engage in all stages of the development life cycle, from requirements analysis and technical design to development, testing, and deployment.
• Work effectively with team members to solve technical problems and ensure project milestones are met.
• Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation for procedures, processes, and technical specifications.
Qualifications:
Required:
• 8 years of IT experience.
• 7 years of hands-on application development experience with ASP.NET (MVC experience is applicable).
• 7 years of hands-on application development experience with VB.NET or C#.
• 7 years of hands-on application development experience with Visual Studio 2010 or later.
• 7 years of hands-on application development experience with SQL Server 2008 or later.
• 7 years of hands-on application development experience with JavaScript, HTML, CSS.
• 7 years of hands-on application development experience with Crystal Reports Designer.
• 5 years of AJAX experience.
• 3 years of experience with jQuery and XML.
• 2 years of experience with Bootstrap, JSON, and data conversion/migration.
• 3 years of experience writing complex SQL queries, functions, and stored procedures.
• 2 years of experience writing console and batch applications for data interfaces.
• 2 years of experience developing web services using WCF (Windows Communication Foundation).
