Job description

The YMCA of the Fox Cities is seeking a full-time Technology Specialist, who will support the technology needs of the association. The YMCA of the Fox Cities Association Team supports six branches, a child care facility, overnight camp, and many before/after school care program sites.

The Technology Specialist provides high levels of customer serviceto all technology end-users atthe YMCA of the Fox Cities facilities, develops strong working relationships to increase end-user satisfaction, assists with maintaining the help desk by responding to usersupport requests, providestechnical assistancepromptly, andtrackssupport information.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Document and handle requests usinganissue tracking system; prioritize and follow up proactively on open issues.
  • Analyze, diagnose and solve technical issues. Escalate issues when required.
  • Develop and create documentation and support material, contributing to our organizational knowledge base.
  • Provide basic training to end-users on system features.
  • Prepare and stage new equipment for staff.
  • Prepare and update departmental standard operating procedures.
  • Install and setup software as organizational needs change.
  • Update and maintain accurate records of IT equipment.
  • Modify configurations, utilities and software default settings for the workstations.
