The Role

We are looking for a Physical Layer Engineer to design, implement, and validate advanced PHY algorithms for next-generation 6G wireless systems.

You will contribute to the development of base station (NodeB) and user equipment (UE) emulators, working on real-world challenges in signal processing, RF systems, and high-performance computing.

This role combines algorithm development + system integration + performance validation, with direct exposure to cutting-edge industry projects.

What You Will Do
  • Design and develop physical layer (PHY) algorithms for 5G/6G systems
  • Implement solutions in MATLAB, Python, and C/C++ (CUDA is a plus)
  • Work on signal processing, including modulation, coding, and channel modeling
  • Integrate and validate algorithms in system-level simulators and emulators (NodeB / UE)
  • Analyze performance and optimize for accuracy, efficiency, and scalability
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams and engage with leading telecom customers

What We’re Looking For
  • Degree in Telecommunications Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or similar
  • 3–5 years of experience in wireless communications or signal processing
  • Strong knowledge of physical layer concepts (PHY)
  • Experience with at least one of: MATLAB, Python, C/C++
  • Solid understanding of digital communications and signal processing
Nice to Have 
  • Experience with 5G NR / 6G research
  • Knowledge of MIMO, OFDM, channel estimation, or error correction coding
  • Exposure to GPU programming (CUDA) or high-performance computing
  • Experience with RF measurements or wireless system validation
