Fortune Fish & Gourmet is seeking a qualified individual to join our team!


Availability: Monday–Friday, 6:00 AM–4:00 PM; weekends as needed.

This Maintenance Technician's primary accountability is for efficient, effective, and safe execution of all daily preventative maintenance and repairs taking place within the Meat and Seafood Production Rooms, all Warehouse and Product Storage Coolers/Freezers, and Dock and Logistics areas while ensuring timelines are met, quality standards are achieved, and downtime is avoided/limited. 

  • Visibly engaged and supportive team member with ownership of well-designed SOP’s, proactive analytics and planning.
  • Strong time management skills in order to keep Facility and all Manufacturing equipment in top working order while keeping a focus on departments budgetary considerations.
  • Value company best practices and model behavior consistent with Company Core Values.
  • Communicate and coordinate cross departmental functions with Operations Production Manager, FSQA, and Department Production Supervisors to address opportunities and contribute to solutions.
  • Maintain environments in all production, storage, common, and maintenance areas that are safe and conducive to successful, efficient Manufacturing and Warehousing.
  • Participates in a positive and collaborative but structured culture where Continuous Process Improvement Initiatives, Company Goals, and Platinum Standard Customer Satisfaction are achieved.
  • Will require occasional travel including potential overnights.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Outside Vendors

Identifying New Strategic Vendor Partners and Maintain Existing Vendor Relationships

Timely Request of Quotes, Prepare Analytics and ROI

Verify and Approve Invoices from Outside Vendors

Preferred Qualifications for Maintenance Technician:

· 2-3 years of maintenance experience preferred.

· Must be able to lift 50 lbs. or more.

· Must be able to be on their feet 8 hours a day.

· Must be able to bend at the waist repeatedly.

· Mechanically inclined.
