Position Summary

We are looking for a Service Coordinator to play a critical role in

supporting our reconditioning, and service platforms. Our ideal candidate

should be able to leverage existing industry knowledge, process, relationships,

and superb communication skills to ensure organization, timely response, and

that The Fortis Standard is upheld for every project and to achieve total customer

satisfaction.

Our Service Coordinator will represent our company and interact with

major clients on a regular basis. In addition to a strong operations background

steeped in process and technology this position requires polish, strong execution

skills, and an enthusiastic customer service attitude.

The top measurables for this role are, organization, timely response, managed

claims costs/activity, and happy internal and external customers.

Necessary Skills

The Service Coordinator must be a jack-of-all trades service

professional with a wide range of skills to build out our customer service

platform and set it up to be scaled with the sales growth of the business. As a

key member of our staff this role needs a “whatever it takes” attitude.

It is imperative for the Fortis Service Coordinator to learn the ins and

outs of all of Fortis’ service lines and technologies as well as The Fortis Standard

to effectively communicate and respond to our internal and external customer

needs. A firsthand mentality will be needed to help build process, educate internal staff

and third-party vendors, and set a solid foundation for growth based on

measured performance.

General Fortis Qualifications

Fortis believes that, having prior roofing service experience is strong

plus to achieve success in this role. Strong preference will be given to a

candidate with a service background in roofing with experience in scheduling

crews, preparing service scopes of work, and strong familiarity with the industry’s

materials for all roof applications. The Service Coordinator in this role

· College degree or equivalent

· 3 years’ experience as a Service Coordinator, or similar role

· Ability to work closely with both the sales team and customers

· Strong verbal and written communication skills

· Ability to apply general mathematical concepts

· Experienced in using technology - such as smart devices

· Strong ability to use software such as MS Office and Salesforce

· Ability to carry items over forty pounds on occasion
