Job Description

Seeking an experienced Lead Network Support Engineer / Network Architect with 10+ years of enterprise networking experience to lead network support, architecture, and infrastructure modernization initiatives. The ideal candidate will provide L3 support, perform network assessments, manage Cisco and Fortinet environments, optimize network performance, automate operations, and mentor junior engineers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide L3 support for complex routing, switching, firewall, and VPN issues.
  • Design, implement, and support Cisco and Fortinet network infrastructure.
  • Configure and manage Cisco Firewalls, FortiGate, Cisco Nexus, Meraki, and SolarWinds.
  • Manage OSPF, BGP, VLANs, STP, QoS, ACLs, NAT, and SD-WAN environments.
  • Perform network assessments, health checks, security reviews, and performance tuning.
  • Automate network administration using Python, Bash, or EEM scripting.
  • Support incident management, root cause analysis, and change management.
  • Collaborate with infrastructure, security, and ISP teams while mentoring junior engineers.
Required Qualifications
  • 10 12 years of enterprise networking experience, including 3 4 years in an L3/Network Architect role.
  • Strong hands-on experience with Cisco Routing & Switching, Cisco Nexus, and Fortinet Firewalls.
  • Experience with SolarWinds, network monitoring, and packet analysis tools.
  • Knowledge of Cisco ISE, Cisco DNAC, Meraki, HA, SD-WAN, and enterprise network security.
  • Experience with automation using Python or Bash.
  • CCNA required; CCNP Enterprise and Fortinet NSE certification preferred.
