IT Support Engineer III - STL Office
We are looking for a professional, enthusiastic, and flexible individual with experience of working in a busy office and remote environments. The candidate must have excellent communication skills, able to work well within a team, but also manage their own workload with good time management. We operate a complex multi-site environment, hosting many different systems which enables us to provide class leading solutions to some the world's largest companies.
The IT Support Engineer III role is to provide strong 3rd line support for the St. Louis office while working closely with the wider global infrastructure team. The role will support local users, systems, networking, endpoints, and office technology, while also helping maintain the server, cloud, security, and network platforms that support Brand Addition's global business. This position reports to Mark Humphrey and is based in the STL office full time.
The ideal candidate must have excellent interpersonal skills, great troubleshooting skills, have an eye for attention to detail and the enthusiasm to learn and develop their skills further.
Responsibilities include
  • Ensure the efficient and smooth running of the IT Infrastructure
  • Establish and maintain processes for monitoring and maintaining server and network performance
  • Establish and maintain processes for monitoring and maintaining server and network security
  • Support our virtual environment (VMWare/Hyper-V/Azure)
  • Maintain server and network infrastructure, including installing, updating, Patching, and producing supporting documentation
  • Maintain Active Directory (Azure Hybrid), Group Policy, DNS, DHCP, and Exchange Online
  • Work with SQL Administrator to ensure optimal performance of database servers
  • Ensure all processes for backups and disaster recovery are functioning
  • Undertaking IT projects as directed by Mark Humphrey and the wider Technology leadership team
  • Act as the local senior technical point of contact for the STL office, supporting office connectivity, meeting room technology, printers, scanners, endpoint issues, and local infrastructure needs
  • Work with 1st and 2nd line teams to improve escalation quality, documentation, root cause analysis, and repeat issue reduction
  • Support our global patching, endpoint management, security tooling, and Microsoft 365 administration for all users and devices.
  • Provide 3rd line IT support for all office locations both local and remote locations, including escalation support for complex user, endpoint, infrastructure, network, and security issues.

Must have implementation and support experience
  • Windows Server 2016 and above
  • Virtualization with VMware, Hyper-V & Azure
  • DHCP, DNS, NPS, Active Directory, Group Policy
  • Microsoft O365 (Exchange, Teams, One drive, SharePoint, Defender, In-Tune etc)
  • Systems and Server backup Technologies
  • IIS Server
  • PowerShell
  • Microsoft SQL Server Installation and Maintenance
  • Experience working with SAN Technologies
  • Experience working with backup technologies
  • Good experience of managing firewalls, switches, AP's and other network devices
  • In-depth knowledge of networking and security including, TCP/IP, OSI model, protocols and VLAN's
  • Knowledge of server performance and optimising configurations
  • Experience of implementing industry standard security principles across the server and network environment
  • Works well in a team and by themselves
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills
