Description Of Services
  • The Software Engineer will join the Internal Research and Development (IRAD) Test Team, with primary responsibility for the design, development, and implementation of automated tests to validate system functionality, performance, and integration for mission-critical software systems.
  • Duties include collaborating with test leads, developers, and systems engineers to design test cases and implement automated tests, developing and maintaining automated test frameworks, and executing automated regression, integration, and performance tests.
  • This role requires supporting continuous testing workflows in CI/CD pipelines, ensuring traceability between test requirements and verification results, analyzing test results using automated tools, and contributing to automated testing strategies aligned with industry best practices.
  • The ideal candidate will work in a collaborative environment, troubleshooting issues found during testing and collaborating with developers to investigate root causes.

Skills/Experience
  • Bachelor's degree in STEM with 12+ years of related experience; Master's with 10+ years; PhD with 8+ years -- (Required)
  • Active, in-scope DoD-issued Secret security clearance at time of application -- (Required)
  • Experience designing, developing, and executing automated tests in alignment with defined test cases -- (Required)
  • Hands-on experience with test automation frameworks and libraries in CI/CD environments -- (Required)
  • Proficiency with scripting languages (e.g., Python) and object-oriented programming languages (e.g., Java, C#) -- (Required)
