WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR:
Fors Marsh is seeking a Staff Accountant. This individual would work in Finance and Accounting. This job is best suited for an individual with 3-5 years' experience in the Government Contracting Industry.
Responsibilities include:
  • Accounts Payable:
    • Processes accounts payable PO vouchers in Deltek Costpoint
    • Sends accounts payable report to Director of Accounting for approval of payment
    • Prepares payment for accounts payable in Deltek Costpoint
    • Investigates all vendor related inquiries
    • Processes Expense Reports and reconciles Company Credit Cards in Deltek Time & Expense
  • Accounts Receivable:
    • Records electronic deposits to client records
    • Records cash receipts to client records
  • Cash and Credit Card Accounts:
    • Reconciles cash daily
    • Maintains a cash flow reconciliation daily
    • Reconciles bank accounts, credit cards and loans monthly
    • Provides Director of Accounting with reconciliations for review and approval
  • Reporting:
    • File monthly and quarterly reports with appropriate agencies
    • Enter journal entries as needed
    • Maintain records and work with outside auditors
    • Contract compliance
  • Fixed Assets:
    • Update fixed assets in asset tracker for additions and deletions
    • Maintain records for fixed asset purchases and disposals

Qualifications:
    • Proficiency in Deltek Costpoint and Time & Expense Required
    • 2 -4 years' experience in an accounting and Government Contracting position required
    • Bachelor's degree in accounting or business administration with a concentration in accounting required
    • Must be a motivated self-starter
    • Self-motivated, driven positive attitude
    • Great team player and able to work under tight timelines and pressure
    • Unwavering attention to detail and superb organizational skills
    • Willingness to listen and learn, with ability to multi-task
