Position Overview
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented R&D Chemist to join our team. In this role, you will support the development and optimization of personal care formulations while contributing to a collaborative, fast-paced, and innovation-driven environment.
You will work alongside experienced scientists to enhance existing products, develop new formulations aligned with market trends, and support the technical needs of our customers.
Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and compliant laboratory environment
  • Calibrate and maintain laboratory equipment
  • Support project tracking and updates within internal systems
  • Order and manage raw material samples for development projects
  • Perform document control and maintain accurate records
  • Prepare, mount, and evaluate stability samples; maintain stability logs and reports
  • Assist chemists with formulation development and lab activities
  • Validate customer-supplied and internal formulations
  • Prepare lab batches and scale-up support batches as needed
  • Prepare documentation and coordinate shipment of samples
  • Contribute to innovation efforts in product and ingredient development

Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Chemistry or a related scientific field
  • Minimum of 1 year of laboratory experience (internship or professional)
  • Working knowledge of standard lab equipment (e.g., pH meter, viscometer, mixers, hot plates)
  • Strong organizational and documentation skills
  • Effective communication skills with the ability to collaborate across teams
  • Eagerness to learn and grow within the personal care industry
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and take ownership of outcomes

Preferred Qualifications
  • Coursework in organic chemistry, physical chemistry, and mathematics
