Circuit of The Americas (COTA) is a 365-entertainment destination for world-class events located in Austin, TX. The sports and entertainment portfolio at COTA is unmatched in the country with Formula 1 US Grand Prix, NASCAR and MotoGP attracting global fans during championship races on the famed Circuit and Live Nation producing over 30 headline concerts every year at the Germania Insurance Amphitheater. COTALAND is an amusement park with over 30 attractions and experiences, including first-of-their-kind roller coasters. 


Job Description:

The Lawn Chair Rental Crew Member is responsible for the rental, distribution, collection, and inventory management of lawn chairs at Germania Insurance Amphitheater. This position plays an important role in enhancing the guest experience by providing friendly, efficient service while supporting event-day operations. 

Requirements

Job Functions:

  • Rent and distribute lawn chairs to guest on event days. 
  • Process transactions accurately using venue point-of-sale systems.
  • Educate guests on rental procedures, pricing, and venue policies. 
  • Assist with set up and breakdown of lawn chair rental locations. 
  • Maintain accurate inventory counts before, during, and after each event. 
  • Collect and organize returned lawn chairs following each event. 
  • Monitor rental inventory throughout the event and communicate restocking needs to supervisors. 
  • Provide exceptional customer service and assist guests with questions or concerns. 
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and professional work area. 
  • Work collaboratively with Guest Services, Operations, and other event staff to support venue operations. 
  • Assist with Additional event-day responsibilities as assigned. 

Qualifications:

  • Strong customer service and communication skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced outdoor environment
  • Previous experience in customer service, retail, hospitality, or events preferred
  • Ability to stand and walk for extended periods of time
  • Ability to list, carry, and move lawn chairs and equipment weighing up to 35 pounds
  • Dependable, punctual, and able to work independently
  • Flexible schedule with availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays based on the concert schedule
  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • Knowledge of live event or venue operations is a plus

Starting pay: $17 per hour
