Position Details:
  • Seasonal/Temporary Position: Estimated duration of 6 months, subject to change with operational business needs. Employment will conclude at the end of the assignment period. Seasonal employees may be considered for full-time roles if business needs arise, conversion to full-time is not guaranteed.
  • Monday-Friday, Day Shift 4:00AM until work is finished.
  • $20.50 per hour (If a CDL Learner Permit is possessed, pay is $21.50 per hour)
  • 40 hours or more a week
Position Purpose:
Food and food service delivery Drivers fulfill a critical role in the country's food supply chain. Our delivery drivers not only make sure the customers' products arrive at their destination at the arranged times and in good condition, but they are the face of our company - building lasting relationships with our customers! As a Driver, Helper Non Formula, you will assist the Driver in every aspect of the product delivery to our customers.
The Driver, Helper Non Formula rides with and assist Drivers in the tractor trailer, tandem trailer and/or straight truck on intrastate and interstate routes for the purpose of delivering and/or unloading various products in a safe and timely manner and in accordance with Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations. Communicates and interacts with customers, vendors and co-workers professionally ensuring questions are answered accurately and in a timely manner. Functions as a team member within the department and organization, as required, and perform any duty assigned to best serve the company.
Responsibilities may include, but not limited to:
  • Assists the Driver in the safe and accurate delivery of products to customers in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Loads and unloading truck and/or company vehicles.
  • Places products in areas identified by customers.
  • Completes required documentation in a timely manner.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications
• Must be able to work the scheduled/assigned times and required overtime for the position
• Able to stand, walk, reach, and lift repeatedly throughout shift
• Able to lift, stack, and/or pull products off shelves, as well as replenish product, from various heights, weighing between 10-35 pounds and generally up to between approximately 60 and 90 pounds, depending on the location, throughout the shift
• Pass post-offer drug test and criminal background check
