Our repairs are carried out by highly skilled and trained technicians using modern equipment and materials so that you can get back on the road safely.

Position Summary:

CSN Formula is currently hiring a skilled and meticulous Auto Body Painter to become a valued member of our team. The primary duties of the Auto Body Painter involve preparing, refinishing, and applying paint to repaired vehicles, ensuring a flawless finish that meets industry standards and customer expectations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Sanding, masking, priming, and painting vehicles using approved techniques and materials.
  • Blending paint and ensuring proper colour match.
  • Applying clear coats and final finishing for a high-quality appearance.
  • Inspect repaired and painted areas for defects and ensure work meets shop and OEM standards.
  • Operate and maintain spray guns, paint booths, and other equipment in a clean and safe manner.
  • Follow proper safety procedures and maintain compliance with environmental regulations (VOC, waste disposal, etc.).
  • Communicate effectively with estimators, body technicians, and other team members to ensure efficient workflow.
  • Maintain detailed records of paint materials used and ensure minimal waste.
  • Participate in continuous improvement initiatives and training to maintain up-to-date refinishing techniques.
  • Operate and maintain painting tools, spray guns, and other equipment
  • Apply paint coats using spray equipment with precision and consistency
  • Inspect painted surfaces for quality and touch up as needed
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient workflow and high-quality results
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor or manager

Requirements

  • Minimum 2-3 years of experience as an Autobody Painter in a collision repair environment.
  • Strong knowledge of automotive refinishing processes, paint systems, and colour matching.
  • Ability to work with various paint lines (waterborne and solvent-based).
  • Familiarity with collision industry repair processes and standards.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
  • Completion of a recognized apprenticeship or certification (preferred but not mandatory).
