What career paths are available to former prosecutors after leaving public service?

Former Prosecutors often have a wide range of opportunities in the legal field and beyond, including roles as defense attorneys, corporate counsel, compliance officers, or legal consultants. Transitioning to these roles usually involves shifting from prosecution to advisory, investigative, or policy-oriented work, while relying on the same core legal skills developed as a prosecutor.
