Job description

Machine Operator – 2nd Shift

Worcester, MA 

2nd Shift (approx. 2:00 PM – 10:30 PM)

About the Role

We’re hiring a Diamond Forming Specialist to join the Saint-Gobain team. In this role, you’ll be responsible for mixing, molding, pressing, and inspecting specialized materials in a cleanroom manufacturing environment. This is a great opportunity for candidates with prior manufacturing, mixing, molding, finishing, or cleanroom experience who are looking for steady 2nd shift work.

What You’ll Do

  • Operate presses, mixing, and molding equipment

  • Manufacture and inspect products with precision

  • Follow work orders, blueprints, and quality standards

  • Track data and maintain accurate production logs

  • Ensure equipment is set up, adjusted, and maintained properly

  • Work with materials in a cleanroom environment

What We’re Looking For

  • High School Diploma or GED required

  • At least 3 years of manufacturing or machining experience

  • Experience in mixing, molding, finishing, or cleanroom work strongly preferred

  • Ability to read blueprints and use precision measuring tools (calipers, micrometers, etc.)

  • Comfortable working on your feet and lifting up to 50 lbs as needed
