Job description

Essential Functions / Responsibilities:
• Stack and pile finished goods into boxes and crates per specific customer instructions
• Prepare goods for shipment
• Move and store materials using various equipment and tools, such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks
• Ensure materials are properly labeled and packaged - recording measurement, weight & product count - and place in designated areas
• Mark & Label containers
• Take pictures of packaged goods for customer review
• Assist with loading and unloading trucks and containers
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment
• Cross train and support other departments as needed
• Safety Sensitive Position
• Other duties as needed or required.
Work Environment:
-Primary work environment is the production floor.
- Able to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
- Able to wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) through the entire shift.
- Ability to be aware of surroundings for safety concerns.
- While performing duties of this job the employee will be required to frequently stand on their feet for extended periods of time. Occasion stooping and walking will be required.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Prior experience in materials handling or a related field preferred
• Ability to operate forklifts and other materials handling equipment
• Familiarity with inventory management systems and basic computer skills
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Light woodworking skills
