Job Title: IAM Engineer - Forgerock (Face to Face interview)

Location: Chicago, IL 

Duration: 12+ Months long term contract

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced IAM Engineer with hands-on expertise in Ping Identity IDM and ForgeRock platforms. The ideal candidate will design, implement, and support identity management solutions, ensuring secure and seamless access across enterprise systems. Experience in the banking/financial domain is a strong plus.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, implement, and maintain Identity and Access Management (IAM) solutions using Ping IDM and ForgeRock.
  • Configure, customize, and integrate IAM components with enterprise applications.
  • Manage user provisioning, de-provisioning, role management, and access governance.
  • Develop and maintain workflows, policies, and rules for identity lifecycle management.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve IAM-related issues in a timely manner.
  • Collaborate with security, infrastructure, and application teams to ensure compliance with enterprise security standards.
  • Contribute to IAM solution upgrades, migrations, and new deployments.
  • Create and maintain technical documentation, standard operating procedures, and knowledgebase articles.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Strong hands-on experience with Ping IDM and ForgeRock IAM solutions.
  • Solid understanding of IAM concepts: SSO, federation, RBAC, access governance, MFA, identity lifecycle management.
  • Experience with directory services (LDAP/AD) and SAML, OAuth, OpenID Connect protocols.
  • Proficiency in scripting or programming languages (e.g., Java, Groovy, Python) for customization and automation.
  • Familiarity with integration of IAM solutions with enterprise applications and cloud platforms.
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

Nice to Have:

  • Experience working in the banking or financial services domain.
  • Exposure to regulatory compliance standards (e.g., SOX, GDPR, PCI-DSS).
  • Knowledge of DevOps tools and CI/CD integration for IAM solutions.
