Job description

Forge Resources Group is a leader in closed-die, near-net metal forgings and fabricated assemblies serving diverse industries including aerospace, mining/drilling, railroad, shipbuilding, off-road/ag, and other heavy equipment manufacturers.

We are seeking a someone to work in our Post Forge Department, inspecting and cleaning parts, preparing shipments.

EXPERIENCE & SKILLS PREFERRED:

  • Ability to read measuring tools and equipment
  • Ability to accurately document data
  • Experience grinding with handheld grinders and bench grinders
  • Previous forklift experience
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to successfully interact within all organizational levels
  • Self-starter to see projects through completion

TYPICAL DUTIES:

  • Inspecting parts using a variety of measuring tools and gages
  • Grinding/deburring parts with handheld grinders and bench grinders
  • Coining parts
  • Cleaning/packing parts
  • Unloading/loading trucks with forklift
  • Prepare shipments according to the shipping plan
  • Prepare shipping documents and certification packets
  • Create customer shipping labels
  • Create and save Certificates of Compliance
  • Arrange trucks for shipments
  • Forward shipping batches to Accounting
  • Obtain purchase orders for outsourced services
  • Perform data collection on outsourced services activity
  • Receiving on outsourced PO’s
  • Inspection on received parts
  • Save/manage certifications for outsourced services
  • Forward A/P to Accounting

Operating the following equipment:

  • Scale
  • Shotblast
  • Forklift
  • Coin Press
  • Computer

Perform other duties as assigned

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

· Continuous Standing

· Frequent unassisted lifting up to 40 pounds

· Frequent grasping and gripping with both hands

· Frequent pushing/pulling/twisting/turning with upper body while holding parts
