Key Responsibilities

Sales & Business Development

  • Develop and execute a strategic sales plan focused on the planting division.
  • Identify, target, and secure new business opportunities within the forestry sector.
  • Maintain and grow relationships with existing clients, including contractors, forest management companies, and government entities.
  • Promote UTV International’s planting equipment, attachments, and solutions.
  • Achieve or exceed assigned sales targets and KPIs.

Technical Expertise & Client Support

  • Provide expert guidance on planting equipment selection, usage, and performance optimization.
  • Conduct product demonstrations in field environments.
  • Support customers with technical inquiries and recommend tailored solutions.
  • Gather customer feedback to support product development and continuous improvement.

Market Intelligence

  • Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and emerging technologies in forestry and planting.
  • Provide insights to leadership to support strategic decision-making.
  • Represent the company at industry events, trade shows, and field demonstrations.

Collaboration

  • Work closely with engineering, production, and service teams to ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Coordinate with internal departments to ensure timely delivery and after-sales support.
  • Contribute to marketing initiatives, including product launches and promotional campaigns.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Minimum 3–5 years of sales experience in the forestry industry (planting division preferred).
  • Hands-on experience or strong knowledge of tree planting operations and equipment.
  • Background in forestry, natural resources, or a related field (technical diploma or degree is an asset).
  • Proven track record of achieving sales targets.
  • Strong understanding of forestry contractors’ operational challenges.

Skills & Competencies

  • Excellent relationship-building and communication skills.
  • Strong technical aptitude with the ability to explain complex equipment solutions.
  • Self-motivated, with a high level of autonomy and initiative.
  • Ability to travel frequently to customer sites and remote forestry locations.
  • Proficiency in CRM systems and Microsoft Office.
