Job description

Job Title: CNC Operator

Job Description

Join a longstanding production CNC machine shop that has been crafting quality metal parts since 1946 for industries such as agriculture, construction, off-road highway trucking, forestry, and mining. We are seeking a skilled CNC Operator to work primarily on Mazaks, producing a variety of small to large parts with precision and minimal scrap.

Responsibilities

  • Operate CNC machines and machining centers to produce parts efficiently, achieving set rates and minimizing indirect labor hours.
  • Review and interpret drawings, instructions, blueprints, or samples to ensure precise production.
  • Plan the sequence of tasks to complete assignments effectively.
  • Inspect parts using gauges and quality plan dimensions to ensure adherence to quality assurance standards.
  • Document labor and quality checks, and report any errors or defects as required.
  • Identify machine/tool maintenance needs and perform minor repairs.
  • Learn machine set-up using provided documentation to perform setups efficiently.
  • Maintain a safe and clean work environment.

Work Environment

Work the 1st shift from 6:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m., with plenty of optional overtime available. Join a busy, well-lit shop environment where work orders are set through 2026.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $35.00/hr.
