Student Assistant - Recreation Therapy Intern

The Department of State Hospitals-Napa, Rehabilitation Therapy Services Department has an intermittent-actual time worked vacancy for Student Assistant - Recreation Therapy Intern.

Duties Include: Plan, organize, and lead treatment groups. Work collaboratively on an interdisciplinary team to treat patients at a state psychiatric forensic hospital. Write progress notes, lesson plans, and program evaluations. Maintain a safe environment, clean equipment, and manage supplies. Applications will be screened and only the most competitive candidates will be invited for an interview. Failure to include necessary documents may also exclude you from the hiring process. Expectations for entering internship include current enrollment in an undergraduate or graduate program in Therapeutic Recreation.
