- Prepare clear, concise, and technically sound forensic engineering reports.
- Participate in depositions, mediation, arbitration, and trial proceedings as an expert witness when required.
- Communicate findings effectively with clients, attorneys, insurance professionals, and other stakeholders.
- Maintain current knowledge of applicable building codes, engineering standards, and forensic investigation methodologies.
- Perform other project-related consulting services as assigned.
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, or a related discipline.
- Active Professional Engineer (PE) license in good standing; multiple state licensure preferred.
- Prior forensic engineering experience preferred.
- Demonstrated experience investigating structural failures, construction defects, and damage causation matters.
- Ability and willingness to travel up to 50%, including short-notice travel in response to catastrophic events, natural disasters, and large-scale property loss investigations.
- Valid driver's license and ability to travel independently to inspection sites throughout the assigned region.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and technical writing skills.
- Excellent verbal communication and presentation skills.
- Experience providing litigation support, depositions, or expert testimony preferred.
- Ability to manage multiple assignments independently and meet project deadlines.
Engagement Structure:

- Project-based assignments as opportunities arise.
- Flexible workload and scheduling.
- Competitive compensation based on assignment scope and complexity.
- Opportunity to support investigations across residential, commercial, and industrial projects.
