Salary includes psychiatric differential, board certification pay and opportunities for additional on-call work. Our physicians enjoy a flexible work schedule which allows them more time with family and friends. We offer you the ability to work with: • 40+ Board Certified Psychiatrists, including more than a dozen Forensic Psychiatrists and two Geriatric Psychiatrists • An average patient load of 10 to 30 (depending upon the acuity of the unit) • A partnership with Oregon Health and Sciences University which provides unique opportunities for: • Regular Grand Rounds • Access to free continuing medical education • Affiliation with a world-renowned health and science university and access to other specialists for consultation such as electroconvulsive therapy • A competitive salary and benefit package, with additional compensation for: o Voluntary Call o Board certification o Certification in Forensic Psychiatry or Geriatric Psychiatry • Paid Education Leave • Opportunities to teach rotating residents, medical students and fellows • Opportunities for periodic change through unit rotations • Forensic Evaluation Service rotations available to Certified Forensic Psychiatrists • 6 medical clinic physicians and 4 medical nurse practitioners to address the medical care needs of patients Our patients receive a centralized system of care using a treatment mall concept. This model allows: • Patients to have equal access to all services • Patients to have opportunities for healthy socialization. • Patients to be placed in appropriate living units, • Each patient to works closely with an interdisciplinary team to develop an individualized treatment plan based on strengths, needs and preferences. • Patients to have access to 20 hours of active, best-practice treatment • Patients achieve various privilege levels with additional treatment opportunities, such as: o art studios o music rooms o classrooms o training kitchen Patients benefit by being able to maximize their individual skills!
