Job Description

Micro - Tue - Fri (12pm - 8:30pm) Sat (10am - 6:30 pm)

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Demonstrates and promotes the company vision
  • Regular attendance and punctuality
  • Receive samples for analysis and enters all pertinent information concerning testing, reporting, and billing of samples in the computer system per applicable Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
  • Work interactively with the technical staff to help ensure that clients' expectations are met with regards to testing, reporting, and invoicing
  • Proficient in performing the duties of Sample Registration
  • Troubleshoot and assist others with troubleshooting Fresh Desk tickets to resolve customer issues
  • Perform sample verification and monitor test codes to determine the appropriateness for the matrix received
  • Ensure all work is completed as necessary when co-workers are absent.
  • Organize tasks in Sample Registration
  • Maintain cooperative working relationships with coworkers and other company employees
  • Assist in training of new staff in Sample Registration
  • Assist with maintaining/updating Sample Registration procedures, Work Instructions or flow charts.
  • Manage time in a manner that ensures a high degree of productivity.
  • Proficient in sample preparation
  • Strong understanding of sample flow and sample priorities to maximize productivity
  • Maintain a perpetual state of readiness and willingness to respond to the queries and needs of clients, staff, and co-workers.
  • Proficient typing ability, accuracy, and speed
  • Conducts all activities in a safe and efficient manner
  • Performs other duties as assigned
Qualifications

To perform this job successfully, the individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.  The requirements below are representative of the knowledge, skill or ability required.

  • High School Diploma required
  • Associate's Degree in science preferred, or equivalent
  • Type 45 words per minute
  • Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills.
  • Excellent communication skills. 
  • Excellent attention to detail
