How do you become a forensic inspector?

To become a forensic inspector, individuals typically need a bachelor's degree in criminal justice, forensic science, or a related field. Gaining experience through law enforcement or forensic laboratories, and obtaining relevant certifications such as those from the American Board of Criminalistics, can enhance job prospects. Strong attention to detail, analytical skills, and knowledge of forensic tools and procedures are essential for this role.

How much money do forensic inspectors make?

Forensic inspectors typically earn a median annual salary of around $60,000 to $70,000, depending on experience, location, and certifications. Entry-level positions may start lower, while experienced inspectors or those with specialized skills can earn over $80,000 annually.
