What is a forensic admin?

Forensic admins are professionals who provide administrative and organizational support within forensic departments or organizations. Their duties typically include managing case files, handling sensitive evidence records, scheduling appointments, coordinating communications between forensic experts and law enforcement, and ensuring that all documentation complies with legal and procedural standards. Forensic admins play a crucial role in maintaining the confidentiality, security, and accuracy of information throughout the forensic process.

What skills and qualifications are needed to thrive as a forensic admin?

Familiarity with case management software, digital evidence databases, and secure communication systems is typically required. Regular meetings and clear documentation help the whole team work efficiently and meet legal standards for evidence handling.
