What is the CDL Operator position?

Ancon provides industrial cleaning and services to customers such as refineries and power plants. Working on the team is always rewarding, is often adventurous, but isn’t easy. Operators that do best are those that can accept the challenge of working conditions that include being outside, at heights, in confined spaces, in heat and able to follow safe work procedures. Out of town traveling required dependent on assignment(s).


What type of Career does the CDL Operator position lead to?

As a CDL Driver you can qualify to train up to Foreman and Supervisor level positions, each coming with a pay increase.


What Qualifications does the CDL Operator position require?

  • Licensing: Class A license required (Manual endorsements required, Hazmat and Airbrake endorsements preferred).
  • *Open to Class B licenses (with the above endorsements) with the adjusted pay range being between $27-$28/hour
  • Certifications: Transportation Worker Identification Credential (TWIC) card preferred. If you don’t have a TWIC Card, assistance will be provided to obtain it.
  • Driving Record: Safe driving record with a strong Motor Vehicle Report (MVR); vacuum truck experience is a plus.
  • Teamwork: Strong team player with a positive attitude and schedule flexibility.
  • Physical Requirements: Physically fit to meet job demands, including the ability to pass a Respirator Fit Test.
  • Compliance: Must pass onboarding and random drug testing.
