Description
Saint John the Apostle Catholic School in Virginia Beach, VA is currently seeking an enthusiastic and dynamic Part-Time World Language Teacher (Spanish language preferred)for in-person teaching and learning for the 2026-2027 school year. Eligible candidates should possess or be able to apply for VA teacher license. The successful candidate should be passionate about sharing the Catholic faith, have experience in supporting student's learning through world language developmentally appropriate educational activities and lessons, assessments, and hands-on experiences. Capable of creating an inviting, meaningful, and excellent learning environment. Work in partnership with other staff, parents, and students. Communicate effectively and demonstrate a commitment to advance the mission of the school.
Requirements
Qualifications:
  • Requires a minimum of a Bachelor's degree in an approved program (K-5 general education
  • Possess an endorsement/certificate in foreign language (Spanish preferred)
  • Computer literate and technologically proficient.
  • Highly organized and motivated.
  • Must be eligible for teacher licensure in Virginia.

Start Date: 2026-2027 School Year (begins mid-August 2026)
Salary/Hours: Diocesan Hourly (20hrs./week)
