Vitesse Systems is looking for a Deburring and Metal Finishing Technician I to join the team in Harbor City, CA! The Deburring and Metal Finishing Technician I will be an impactful member of our production team, accountable for finishing functions on RF components. This role calls for an eye for precision and quality mindedness.

The Role

The primary responsibilities of the Debur and Metal Finishing Technician I is to perform all metal finishing on radio-frequency components.


Key Responsibilities

  • Support and/or perform in-plant and external processes and operations.
  • Perform metal finishing of machined components, including preparation and cleaning.
  • Support brazing and soldering of antenna feed components.
  • Support adhesive bonding and sealing of antenna feed components or assemblies.
  • Visually inspect all parts and assemblies to ensure professional appearance of finished product.
  • Support integration of antenna feed components and assemblies.
  • Other duties as assigned.


Qualifications & Experience

  • High School Diploma or Equivalent
  • Detail oriented and precision work focused.
  • Experience finishing and deburring RF components highly desired
  • Ability to read and understand engineering drawings.
  • Ability to read and follow blueprints, including complex GD&T callouts.
  • Ability to follow standard operating procedures and process-based Work Instructions.
  • Ability to work effectively with a team and independently as needed to support the group effort.
  • Able to utilize hand tools safely and effectively.
  • Basic reading, writing, computer skills such as log on, data entry, and retrieval.
  • Must provide proof of US Citizenship or Permanent Residency to comply with ITAR requirements.
  • Ability to pass a drug screen per Vitesse’s drug testing policy.
  • Ability to pass a criminal background check per Vitesse’s policy.


Vitesse Systems, LLC performs work controlled by the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) and Export Administration Regulations (EAR). These statutes require the protection of technical data and products. The regulations require that such data not be disclosed in written, oral, or visual form to any foreign national without prior export authorization from the Department of State.
