SilverCrest Living: Crestwood East

Battle Creek, MI • On-site

$15 - $17/hr

Full-time

Re-posted 17 days ago

Job description

About Crestwood East

Crestwood East is a 20-bed assisted living home in Battle Creek. Our residents include adults with mental health needs, developmental disability, and memory care requirements. We are not a nursing home and we are not a chain. We are one small home with a real team.

What You Would Do

  • Assist residents with activities of daily living including bathing, dressing, toileting, and mobility
  • Monitor and document resident well-being across your shift
  • Administer medications per your training and our protocols
  • Prepare meals and snacks and sit with residents while they eat
  • Keep the home clean, calm, and safe
  • Communicate clearly with your shift lead and the next shift

What We Pay

  • $15$18/hour base, depending on experience
  • Shift differentials for overnights and weekends
  • CPR and First Aid reimbursed after successful completion of training

Shifts We Are Hiring For

  • Days (8am4pm)
  • Evenings (4pm12am)
  • Overnights (12am8am)
  • Weekends required for most openings. Tell us your availability in the application

What We Are Looking For

  • Reliable. You show up on time and you do not ghost.
  • Calm under pressure. Our residents need stability, not chaos.
  • Able to follow a protocol and document what you did
  • Comfortable with physical work including lifting and repositioning residents
  • Respectful and patient, especially with residents who have behavioral or cognitive challenges

Preferred but Not Required

  • Prior experience in assisted living, group home, nursing home, or home health
  • CNA, HHA, or direct care certifications
  • CPR and First Aid current

What We Ask of You

  • Pass a state background check and IdentoGO fingerprinting
  • Complete a TB screening through Bronson ProHealth before your first shift
  • Complete CPR and First Aid training within your first 30 days (reimbursed)

Why Crestwood East

You will know every resident's name. Your shift lead will know yours. When you see something that needs to change, the owners are looking for ways to improve. If you have been burned out by corporate group homes or nursing homes that treat you like a number, this may be the reset you are looking for.
