Job Description

Job Summary:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Inventory and Demand Planner to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for optimizing inventory levels and demand forecasting across our Retail and E-commerce network. This role requires a strong understanding of sales and inventory analysis, forecasting, and collaboration with various teams to ensure our products are available and meet customer demand.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Sales & Inventory Analysis:Demand and assortment plan at the Style and SKU level to ensure that Omni Retail store and E-Commerce networks' bulk orders are placed sufficiently and timely to meet demand.
  • Weekly Order Projections:Update and manage projected weekly orders to ensure timely stock replenishment.
  • Inventory Review:Analyze door inventory and sell-through rates to identify trends and opportunities for improvement.
  • Store Stock Monitoring:Evaluate and monitor store stock levels at the SKU level to optimize inventory and maintain healthy stock levels across the network.
  • Forecasting Parameter Changes in Logility:Recommend changes to inventory and replenishment parameters in the Logility forecasting system based on sales forecasts.
  • Store Stock Requests:Fulfill store stock requests to support upcoming events and customer needs effectively.
  • Product Replenishment Strategy:Develop and maintain an efficient product replenishment strategy to ensure optimal inventory levels.
  • Analytical Dashboards:Build and maintain analytical dashboards to visualize key metrics and support decision-making.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration:Work closely with Merchant Buyers and the Supply Chain team to improve customer forecast accuracy and ensure proper inventory replenishment to maximize sales and maintain retail in-stock conditions while driving inventory efficiency.

Qualifications:

  • Education:Bachelor's degree in Business, or a related field.
  • Experience:3-5 years of experience in demand planning, inventory management, sales forecasting and analysis, or a related field.
  • Technical Skills:Proficiency in data analysis tools (e.g., Excel) and experience with demand planning and inventory management systems (e.g., Logility).
  • Analytical Skills:Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret complex data.
  • Communication Skills:Excellent verbal and written communication skills; ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Attention to Detail:Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

Estimate Salary Range:$95k - 110k

Base pay is one component of David Yurman's total compensation package, which may also include the following for eligible employees: access to healthcare benefits, 401(k) plan, bonus, employee discounts, Summer Fridays (corporate roles), generous paid time off, sick time, and more.
