Procurement Coordinator

Repsol - E&P Supply Chain Excellence Center
Location: Three Rivers, Texas (Eagle Ford Asset)

Repsol has an opening for a Procurement Coordinator within the E&P Supply Chain Excellence Center Business Unit, based out of our Three Rivers, Texas office, supporting operations within the Eagle Ford Asset.

Position Summary

The Procurement Coordinator supports day-to-day procurement and expediting activities for the Business Unit, with a strong focus on materials sourcing and supplier coordination. This role is part of a global supply chain team and reports to the Logistics and Warehouse Supply Chain Manager based in Madrid, Spain, working closely with field operations, warehouse, and inventory teams to ensure timely and cost-effective material availability.

Key Responsibilities

Sourcing and Procurement of Parts

  • Responsible for sourcing spare parts for facilities, operations and maintenance departments for the Eagle ford Asset.

  • The position manages 10-15 contracts and sources materials on a day-to-day basis.

  • An average of 7-10 POs issued a day.

  • The person will ensure all Procurement Orders (POs) for materials, are complete and issued in time for the Asset.

  • The person will ensure delivery time and prices for each POs are aligned with the Asset needs.

  • The role coordinates with the Warehouse and Inventory team to ensure the sourced spare is not in the inventory.

  • The roles will manage SAP MM - MRP (Material Replenishment Plans) on a weekly basis in coordination with the Warehouse and Inventory team.

Contract management

  • The role will ensure all materials are properly described in the contracts, allocated to the proper material groups and no duplicates appear.

  • If there is a need to request new items not appearing in any contract or when appearing delivery terms are considered not meeting Repsol requirements, then that person will source among vendors in the local market to find best solution, price and/or delivery wise.

  • The role follows up with vendors during the invoicing process through an in-house vendor self-invoice system (E-field system).

Expediting

  • Responsible for ensuring on time delivery of materials.

  • Contact suppliers to ensure that purchase orders were received and that deliveries will ship on time.

  • Performs follow up delivery processes for any requested material.

  • Tracks orders and notifies requesters if delivery is going to be delayed.


Analysis of weekly and monthly KPIs in Power Bi

  • Prepares spot POs report to understand potential inclusions in the contracts.

  • Understands potential savings by negotiating inclusion of those items in the contract or other strategies.

  • Collaborates with the warehouse and the contract holders in analyzing consumptions and spot POs to understand potential Inventory replenishment strategies.

  • Prepares expediting report to understand delays from vendors and potential actions.

  • Will also coordinate with the Supply Chain Excellence Center for Eagle and Marcellus Assets, issuing tenders for long term contracts and/or issuing tenders when the request is over 100 K$.

  • Coordinate days off with Marcellus Procurement Coordinator to ensure coverage at all times for field operations.

Required Qualifications

  • Legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for sponsorship now or in the future

  • High School degree or higher, or equivalent combination of education and relevant experience

  • Minimum 5 years of procurement or supply chain experience

  • Strong knowledge of SAP MM, SAP PM, and Power BI

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills in English

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in oil & gas operations or maintenance in field environments

  • Knowledge of materials used in oil and gas facilities

  • Technical education (mechanical or electrical)

  • Bilingual in English/Spanish
