In this pivotal role, you willlead the delivery of complex projects, applying your technical expertise toensure successful outcomes, and be expected to bring in business opportunitiesby leveraging your network. You will work at the intersection of innovation,engineering, and market development to help position BBA as Ontario's go-totechnical partner for chemical projects.

Project Delivery

  • Drive the delivery of multidisciplinary projects ranging in scale from short-term projects lasting a few weeks to large, long-duration initiatives
  • Proactively manage and resolve technical, financial, schedule and workforce issues in a timely manner to mitigate potential variances
  • Ensure the quality of professional services rendered to preserve BBA's professional image
  • Lead the preparation of project deliverables such as cost estimation, logistic plans, contracts plans, schedules, study reports, project execution plans, risk and opportunities registers
  • Coordinate the preparation of technical deliverables across multiple disciplines including process, mechanical, piping, civil, structural, electrical and instrumentation

Project and Opportunity Development

  • Build relationships with plant operators, developers, technology providers, and government-funded projects across Ontario
  • Understand and promote BBA's portfolio to potential and existing clients
  • Lead the preparation of proposals including defining scope with clients, budget and schedule estimation, and presentation of proposals to clients
  • In collaboration with BBA's global market director, support the execution of the strategy to position BBA in Ontario's chemicals sector
