Are you seeking a new and exciting chapter in your career journey? Join us at Story County Medical Center as a REGISTERED NURSE (RN) or LICENSED PRACTICAL NURSE (LPN) within our Senior Care! Located in Nevada, Iowa, we deliver top-quality healthcare across multiple specialties in a community-focused setting. Be part of our dynamic team and make a meaningful impact in healthcare!
As an RN or LPN you will:
  • Accurately prepares and administers prescribed medications according to Hospital policy, and scope of practice.
  • Makes routine assessments of patient condition and provides nursing care to patients within Hospital policy and procedure and according to physician orders, alerting supervisor of problems.
  • Documents admission, physical assessment, monthly summaries, variance reports, and pertinent resident information.
  • Participates in resident care plans.
  • Maintain strict confidentiality of patient, resident, and personnel information.

Are you detail-oriented, organized, and passionate about optimizing patient care? We are looking for candidates who meet the following requirements:
Required Education, Experience, and Skills:
  • Graduate of an approved school of nursing for Registered Nurses.
  • Current Iowa nursing license.
  • BLS certified within 60 days of employment.
  • Completion of Mandatory Reporter certification within 90 days of employment.
  • Must have legal authorization to work in the United States
