About the Role:
Part-Time

20 hours per week
Join the South Fulton Senior Services team as a Senior Center Assistant, where you will play a vital role in enhancing the lives of our senior community. This position offers a rewarding opportunity to support our programs and services in a friendly and engaging environment. 

Responsibilities:
  • Assist in the planning and implementation of daily activities for seniors.
  • Provide support and companionship to participants, fostering a welcoming atmosphere.
  • Coordinate transportation and manage attendance for scheduled events.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the center and its resources.
  • Assist with meal preparation and distribution during meal programs.
  • Document participant feedback and report any concerns to management.
  • Engage with families and caregivers to enhance communication and support.
  • Participate in training and professional development opportunities.
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent; experience in senior care preferred.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and a passion for working with seniors.
