Job description

Job Summary

We are currently accepting applications for a PreK-8 Foreign Language Teacher. Ideal candidates will have experience teaching, a degree in or native fluency in French or Spanish, and will integrate Catholic values contributing to the spiritual and academic growth of students.

Job Responsibilities

Plan and teach language lessons that reflect both the Archdiocesan curriculum and national standards for foreign language education

Foster a positive, inclusive, and creative classroom environment that encourages artistic expression and critical thinking

Integrate Catholic values and teachings into instruction when appropriate

Collaborate with classroom teachers and school staff on cross-curricular or special projects

Support school-wide liturgical, cultural, and community events through linguistic diversity

Maintain accurate student records and communicate progress to parents and administration

Job Requirements

Background check

Prevent and Protect Program completed through the Archdiocese

Degree in target language OR Native fluency with degree in Education or related discipline

Valid language or elementary teaching credentials
