Flag Football Coordinator

Step onto the field and help shape the next generation of athletes as a Flag Football Coordinator with the City of Kaukauna Recreation Department. From designing engaging practices to leading league play, you’ll create a positive, energetic environment where every player can grow and succeed. What You'll Do
  • Plan, prepare, and deliver practice plans that facilitate learning the fundamental skills and strategies for the game of flag football.
  • Establish and communicate clear objectives for all learning activities and goals.
  • Communicate with participants and parents to provide feedback on performance, goals, and development.
  • Develop the skills of participants through coaching on proper use of equipment and enforcing rules and safety measures.
  • Set up and clean up the field, facilities, and equipment before and after classes.
  • Partner with others in the Recreation Department on programs, activities, equipment, and facilities.
What You'll Bring
  • Advanced Knowledge of Football and associated skills and strategies.
  • Strong leadership and decision-making skills.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills.
  • Ability to establish and maintain cooperative and effective working relationships with others.
  • Knowledge of relevant educational techniques, subject content and learning objectives.
  • Prior coaching/teaching experience is preferred.
Physical Requirements
  • Ability to run, stoop, kneel, climb, bend, lift, push and pull up to 50 pounds.
  • Ability to sustain prolonged visual concentration.
  • Ability to stand/sit for prolonged periods of time.
  • Ability to endure a variety of weather and temperature conditions for prolonged periods of time.
PAY

$23.00 PER HOUR
This position is seasonal for the duration of the program and does not include benefits.
