Job Description:
Full-Time Room Service Associate
Open interviews will be held every Tuesday through Friday from 2PM-4PM
  • 36 hours per week 6:15am - 6:45pm | overtime is available.
  • Rotating 2-week schedule of 12-hour shifts, 3 days per week with mandatory every-other-weekend shifts and 3 holidays per year.
  • Must be able to walk and stand for long periods, and be capable of pushing and lifting 30-50 lbs.

Food and Nutrition Services
Food & Nutrition Services offers nourishing meals to patients, visitors, and Baptist Health Louisville employees.
The department has about 120 employees and operates 24-hours a day/seven days a week. It provides great employment opportunities for growth and development within the department and hospital.

Responsibilities
Responsible for patient food service on assigned units, e.g., menu selections, tray assembly, tray delivery and pick up, special requests and needs, in-between meal food delivery.
Qualifications
  • High school graduate or equivalent preferred.
  • Must be able to read and write.
  • Must have ability to follow written and oral instructions.
  • Neat appearance / excellent hygiene.
  • Excellent customer relation skills.
  • Excellent communication skills required.
  • Fluent in written and spoken English.
