Position Summary

We are looking for Food Servers to provide attentive, high quality service to guests in premium areas, suites, clubs, and special event spaces within the stadium. This role focuses on accurate order taking, timely food delivery, and maintaining elevated service standards that enhance the guest experience. Food Servers ensure menu knowledge, presentation quality, and smooth coordination with kitchen and bar teams. Work is performed under the direction of Premium Supervisors and Food & Beverage Managers, with clear guidelines for service expectations and guest interaction.


Fort Wayne FC home matches run mostly on Saturday evenings from May 2 through October 24, with a few Wednesday matches. Additional stadium event dates will vary.


Essential Responsibilities

  • Greet guests warmly, present menus, and provide knowledgeable recommendations based on offerings and guest preferences.
  • Take food and beverage orders accurately and enter them into the POS system when applicable.
  • Deliver food and beverages promptly while ensuring presentation, temperature, and quality standards are met.
  • Monitor guest satisfaction, anticipate needs, and address concerns or escalate issues to a supervisor when necessary.
  • Assist with setup and breakdown of service areas, including stocking supplies, preparing stations, and resetting tables.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of service stations, dining areas, and premium spaces in accordance with sanitation standards.
  • Follow all food safety, allergen awareness, and alcohol compliance procedures.
  • Collaborate with Runners, Bartenders, Kitchen Staff, and Supervisors to ensure efficient service flow during events.
Requirements:

  • Knowledge of basic food service practices, menu components, and allergen considerations.

Supervisory Responsibilities

This position has no supervisory responsibilities. Works under the direction of Premium Supervisors, Premium Managers, and Food & Beverage Managers.


Experience and Training

  • Prior serving or hospitality experience preferred, especially in premium or high volume environments.
  • Must meet minimum age requirements (18+; 21+ to serve alcohol).
  • Completion of required stadium training, including food safety, guest service, and alcohol compliance modules.
  • Demonstrates reliability, professionalism, and the ability to work evenings, weekends, and event driven schedules.


Physical Demands and Work Environment

Physical Demands:

  • Ability to stand and walk for extended periods during events. Frequent bending, reaching, carrying trays, and lifting up to 25 lbs.
  • Ability to navigate stairs, premium seating areas, and crowded environments.
  • Ability to perform repetitive motions such as carrying plates, pouring beverages, and operating POS devices.

Work Environment:

  • Fast paced, guest focused stadium setting with varying noise levels.
  • Exposure to indoor and outdoor conditions depending on premium space location.
  • Requires flexibility and adaptability during peak service periods and special events.


Job Dimensions

Regular interaction with guests, Premium Supervisors, Runners, Bartenders, Kitchen Staff, and other F&B team members. Represents the stadium’s hospitality standards through direct guest engagement and professional service delivery. Contributes to the overall premium experience by ensuring timely, accurate, and polished service.


Event Attire
Event day staff will be provided with a designated event staff shirt and will need to wear their own khaki pants or long shorts (based on an approved attire list). Comfortable shoes are suggested.
