Server - Double Cut Steak House
Kalahari Resorts & Conventions is seeking a Server for our Double Cut Steak House. In this role, you will provide friendly, responsive service to create a beyond expectation dining experience for all guests. To actively participate as a team and use core values and service expectations listed in the Kalahari Promise daily.
As part of our leadership team, you'll embody our Promise to Lead with Love-guiding, supporting, and inspiring associates while delivering extraordinary guest experiences. You'll provide attentive, personalized service, ensuring that food and beverage orders are delivered accurately and promptly. You'll work collaboratively with the team to maintain a smooth workflow and a positive, efficient dining environment.
Key Responsibilities
  • Ensure that all guests feel welcome and are given responsive, friendly, and courteous service at all times.
  • Greet guests, inform them of specials, provide menu tours, and recommend items you genuinely feel guests will enjoy and menu changes.
  • Take food and beverage orders from guests, enter orders into the point-of-sale system which relays orders to the kitchen and bar.
  • Delivery food and beverage orders from kitchen and bar with appropriate service trays to guests in a timely manner.
  • Be ready and willing to assist fellow associates (servers, bussers, host/hostess, and management) as situations rise.

What We're Looking For
  • State or Local Law may require a certificate upon completion of an alcohol awareness/safety class as well as state-certified proper food handling certification.
  • Minimum of 3 years fine dining experience at like restaurants is required.
  • Ability to operate a Micros terminal, Phone system, POS system, and beverage dispenser.
  • Bi-lingual skills are preferred but not required.
