Position
Our Retail Sales Associates play a vital role in our mission of “Creating & Sharing the Experience of a More Flavorful Life.” Every guest interaction is an opportunity to deliver an engaging and flavorful experience, many of whom are visiting us for the first time! The Spice & Tea Exchange® of Disney Springs prides itself on operating as the Flagship location for our brand; providing opportunities for retail associates to learn and grow in a culinary-centered environment. Retail Sales Associates contribute to our daily store operations and function as our greatest brand ambassadors.

Essential Job Duties
· Welcome each guest into the store and ensure they receive a stellar customer service experience during their visit.
· Establish rapport with customers, field questions concerning product information, the uses of our products and pricing.
· Maintain merchandise and product inventory levels throughout the store (e.g., on shelves, counters, tables, and containers).
· Help maintain store appearance by contributing toward daily routines.
· Assess store inventory levels; notify management of replenishment requirements.
· Price merchandise with labels, SKU’s and locations.
· Blend and package product as necessary, and when applicable.
· Maintain solid, accurate and current product knowledge to promote our products by reading applicable publications and attending required training activities.
· Comply with operating standards and procedures pertaining to the daily store operation.
· Contribute to the team effort and embody the Disney keys of Inclusion, Safety, Courtesy, Show and Efficiency.

Knowledge and Job Requirements
· An engaging personality with proven customer focus and all-star customer service skills.
· Proven Experience in a similar role. This includes Guest Experience Associate, Product Experience Associate, Guest Engagement Associate, and culinary oriented positions.
· Strong Understanding of the retail sales process. This includes using exceptional communication skills, cross-selling, and basic math skills.
· Ability to work a consistent and reliable schedule: days, nights, and weekend availability.
Store hours: Sun-Thurs: 10AM-11PM Fri & Sat: 10AM - 11:30PM
A willingness to work Holidays, a plus.
· Interest in and desire to share knowledge of our many product varieties.
· Detail oriented with ability to utilize simple math skills to measure ingredients, read a scale and follow recipes.
· Appreciates the spice aromas.
· Ability to pivot and remain flexible in a fast-paced environment
· A Self-motivated team player
· Full Time Minimum: 30 hours per week

Physical Requirements
· Ability to operate simple kitchen tools and food equipment
· Must be able to position self to assemble and prepare merchandising displays.
· Must be able to stand for extended periods of time (can be up to 100% of the time).
· Ability to lift and maneuver inventory; up to 50lbs.
